The unit is superbly constructed. It has two serious flaws: poor instructions on how to operate it. The sequences required are not at all obvious and logical. This is compounded by their not being lit, making more difficult. They need to be lit. Trial and error is the was to learn it.. It performs very well, and is superbly built.

The first one (new with all our JennAir appliances in newly-built home) lasted 4 years, but never seemed to heat well. This past winter, I opened the door & the entire top vent component fell out onto my glass cooktop!!! We spent $1000 to replace it (the updated model) & the mother board failed after 5 days! We went through a nightmarish back & forth with the vendor AND JennAir, & after about 2 weeks, they finally replaced that one! JennAir & the appliance vendor have photos.

Had microwave about one year and it caught fire. JennAir replaced it, but still not liking it! Have never been able to cook an edible baked potato in this microwave. Hate the "sensing" feature, and timer sound very soft so if I'm not in kitchen, I usually don't hear it.

Have had this range for a month and can't be more happy with the purchase. Gas top works perfect and cleans up nicely. Oven has been right on temp and very spacious. Made a rib roast the other week that came out awesome which would have been a nightmare in our previous oven. Looks good too!

A clean looking microwave not complicated by an exterior handle. The absence of an exterior handle means my thumb often touches the main face when opening the device and therefore and increased need to wipe prints from the surface.

Hard to find a full-size microwave hood combination. It truly is full-size so is quite a bit bigger than what it replaced. After getting used to the size, though, I'm very happy with it. The fan is powerful, unlike most. Lovely sounds, too - pleasant tones and not jarring buzzing, dings or beeps. I'm still learning all the functions, have played with timed lights, fans, etc. So many options!

I love the look of the microwave, but upon installation, when the installer removed the covering over the stainless around the door, scratches appeared from the tape. I have no idea if this is the installer fault or if the this was delivered that way. So living with it, but somewhat disappointed.

We added this microwave to our kitchen upgrade simply because we didn't want it to be the only appliance that didn't match. But the old clunker we had can go! This one is so quiet you can't even tell it's running, it looks amazing and the size is fantastic.
The one con is that the vent fan can't be turned on and off without cycling through all of the fan levels. Not a big deal, but slightly annoying.

This microwave has been a great addition to our kitchen appliances. The clean design and the user interface for all the presets won us over. While I worried about the larger size initially (which is why 4 stars instead of 5), it has not changed the usability of the work space. The presets work beautifully and rarely have I used manual settings. Highly recommend!

I brought this item as part of a suite of Jenn Air appliance for my kitchen remodel. Finally installed a few months ago. The reason I didn't give it a five :It' a big unit and protrudes a bit beyond my new upper cabinet edge. But for optional fan use above the Jenn Air slide in range the configuration works. Looks a little less built in from side view. But it really didn't bother me after all. It works well so far! Except once: Noticed Starbucks paper cup scorched smell and noticed scorching a little on right side of the cup, under beverage reheat option. YET, beverage reheat temp not hot enough yet. Maybe iits due to composition of recycle paper that Starbucks uses. So I Use a different setting. Definitely a beautiful upgrade for the space.

This microwave is very functional, it was installed in our house when we moved in and it's been working fine, but I personally would not have chosen it. It's very large, it has an extra rack that needs to be stored somewhere, and for day - to - day purposes I see no need to have such a large and multi-layered microwave. I'd prefer more storage space in my kitchen. Also, the spinning is a bit bumpy.

Except for leaving hand/finger smudges on the black glass door, I'm quite happy with my new Jenn-Air Microwave. Smudges are hard to clean. You can wipe all day, smudging remains. Not good in describing things but I couldn't be more pleased with my purchased. If my wife was still alive I'm sure she'd be proud of the decision I made to purchase this Microwave. We installed our first JennAir in 1974 when we remodeled the kitchen after we bought this house. That microwave never gave us any trouble until it just recently died.

First of all, it came damaged. Door was dented. A replacement door came today and it wouldn't work and was damaged. Waiting for another replacement. The microwave is huge...much bigger than we realized for our remodeled kitchen. According to salesperson, this is the size of microwaves. Part of the blame is with the builder. He didn't allow enough room when designing the custom cabinets. Way too big! Hangs to low over stove. Very disappointed in it. I grew up with Jenn-Air appliances and love the new stove, frig and dishwasher but the microwave is a big disappointment.
