We bought this at Lowes thought it was a good . Have been trying to get repaired for 1 month. The top ice maker works intermittent. Then the ice melts and runs all over the our kitchen floor.thier response has been very poor. I have asked for a full refund. I guess we will see.

Our 13 year old fridge went out a couple months ago and as we were doing a total kitchen remodel soon we decided to go ahead and get a counter depth fridge for our space. Personally I do not find the knocking feature anything to write home about and it definitely takes time to get use to having less fridge space with a counter depth I was aware the counter depth would give me less space but we will eventually be installing a second fridge in the basement which will fix my space issues especially during the holidays. The things I love most are all the shelves on the doors. Even the very tiny shelves are perfect for things like my medicine bottles and skin care. I love the dual ice makers because I tend to go through a lot of ice particularly in the morning. I use the bottom ice maker in the morning and the one on the front the rest of the day. I also really appreciate LG reaching out to me to offer a free replacement air filter because there is an updated design. The one star off is for the knock to see feature. It is honestly useless if you have things stored in the door and are trying to peek in to see if you need to order more milk.

I I like the features of the LG. However when I tried to replace the air filter the one that LG recommended did not fit. I called LG and they told me to take the replacement filter apart and force it into the opening. Not a good feeling. They told me they were process of getting the right filter.

PLEASE. DO NOT BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR. Let me paint a picture for all you would be consumers. You have a little perfect angel baby that just wont go to sleep youve tried rocking them back and forth with soothing music in a perfect environment youve painstakingly crafted for your offspring its 3 am and you have to get up for work at 6 am. 6 am comes around much too soon and you have to make breakfast for you and your spouse and your other child while getting ready for work yourself. In an attempt to make breakfast as quickly and smoothly as possible you leave the door open to rapidly pull everything out at once. TOO SLOW IDIOT. Your refrigerator is gonna let you know youre moving too slow and it isnt going to remind you once its going to continuously remind you that youre moving too slow and youre not thinking clearly due to your sleep deprivation. This irritates you as it is an intentionally irritating feature so you look for a way to stop this alarm. Perhaps its in the manual Nope no mention of the feature in the manual. Perhaps you can turn off the alarm by downloading the application and turning off with that. WRONG AGAIN DOUCHEBAG. And you start to doubt yourself of course theres a way to turn off this incessant chiming and I am just looking in the wrong place perhaps theres another control panel a hidden control panel so you call the support team only for them to tell you just hit the alarm button for 3 seconds. Its so obvious Why didnt you do that hours ago Because there is no such button This refrigerator keeps stuff cold and has a cool window but the alarm on this thing makes me want to open it up to rip out the speakers. The worst feature imaginable.

I bought this fridge about 2 weeks ago. Love the size because we needed counter depth. The 4 stars is simply due to the shelving configuration. It is only possible to put taller items in the door. I wish the shelves could be rearranged better so you could put milk OJ etc.. on the shelves instead of in the door. Overall really like the fridge.

This fridge is great except afterc4 years the compressor died. The good news is LG repaired it free since it was under warranty. Make sure you register your product. The bad news is obvious: 4 YEARS??? Look it up. There was a class action too but its closed now. AND they never even paid for the hundreds of dollars in food I lost. Choose a different brand.

It really is a great product but the water valve needed replacing after just 10 months. Thankfully it was repaired under warranty although it took 3 phone calls to persuade LG that they should send out an engineer to fix it.

I bought this refrigerator about a month ago through Costco. I definitely wanted an LG product and this refrigerator was on sale. I love everything about it especially the window in the door the dual ice makers the inside shelves of the non-window door of the fridge and the huge freezer area The one surprising thing is the vent to expel the warm air. The narrow vent is between the fridge and freezer doors and the body of the refrigerator from top to bottom. Since the fridge does stick out some from the cupboard counter on the vent side it does warm that side of the counter to some degree. Its not really a problem for me but for some people it might depending on the location of the refrigerator and the counter adjacent to the refrigerator. The other positive features far out weigh this small issue for me.

Not worth the $$. Less than a year old and already had to replace the ice door fan. Also refrigerator was sold with incorrect air filter cover. Not the only person with this issue from what we read online. So many issues with LG appliances. Also have an LG stove less than 6 years old and had to pay $400 to replace oven fan when a new oven is $500-600

I brought a new convection over and dishwasher from Home Depot with LG brand in addition to a LG refrigerator all of them THINKQ and ALL of them are broke. I bought this refrigerator in February and now Im having to defrost it. Ive had to defrost it 3 times. This refrigerator is the first time I have had to defrost a refrigerator since the 1960s. I called customer service and they said I would need to unplug it for 8 hours and leave the doors open to reset the machine. Exactly what am I supposed to do with my groceries while I try this?

This is a great fridge. The sleek look makes our kitchen feel spacious and roomy. The door alarm on this unit CANNOT be turned off. Its quite annoying. Because it is an app operated unit and I can change the tone on the door alarm through the app there should be a silent mode. Its the only downside.od this fridge.

We got two of theses one for the kitchen and one for the basement kitchenette. We love the features and the reminders over the wireless to make sure the filters are replaced also it keep you informed about ice and water usage. There is plenty of room in the refrigerator and freezer for all the good stuff. The fresh air filter was the old style and the filters for it did not fit so we called customer service and they sent us the new cover for the new style filter. Great customer service

I absolutely love my instaview refrigerator. I love the fact that you can get notifications about too much ice in the ice tray or the door is not closed completely. Besides its roominess it holds a lot of groceries. During installation you set the temperature of the fridge and freezer separately. Once synced to Wi-Fi you can change the notifications to your liking. This was the best buy ever.

We replaced our refrigerator a month ago and absolutely love the LG. It is spacious both in the freezer and the fridge section itself. The water dispenser on our previous refrigerator took up so much room and did not allow space for taller and larger items on the shelves. The LG has it all. I love the internal design on the doors which allows room for larger/wider items to fit. I do wish the water dispenser selection button was designed differently but it is doable.

We bought our LG our cabinet-depth Thin-Q French door fridge with a bottom door freezer. It has two ice makers one in the door and the other in the freezer. We never run out of ice To our surprise this fridge offers more space 26 cu ft in a smaller case than our old larger fridge. We also like the see-thru door panel. It allows us to view items on the inside offering a quick inventory of what we need to get when making trips to the grocery. By the way our new fridge also has remote Wi-Fi to keep tabs on temperature settings etc while were not home. We highly recommend the LG line of refrigerators: they are dependable and offer the latest technology. You wont be disappointed.

Overall we are disappointed with the design and quality of this fridge. The ice/ water dispenser is poorly designed so that you must scroll through choices of crushed cubed water rather than simply clicking one or the other. Huge waste of time and very annoying. Its also extremely inconvenient to use the slim drawer that is the full width of the fridge. Most fridges would have 2 drawers so you dont have to open both doors to get in to the slim drawer. This fridge seems cheap and is very poorly designed. Theyve also quietly removed the craft ice for cubed which we didnt realize until we started using the fridge as its not stated in any of the advertisements. We are disappointed with LG and this fridge.

Really like this counter depth refrigerator. It looks better in our kitchen space. Having to adjust to a little less space on the inside doors. Being able to tap the door see inside is a plus.

I purchased this refrigerator 5 months ago and its already having issues. It constantly shows a E F1 code and it is now freezing food in the fridge and the ice cream in the freezer is melting. Dont waste your money buying this model.

We have had nothing but trouble with the indoor ice maker. It has completely stopped working. Call the warranty line she did trouble shooting over the phone still doesnt work. Wa told part would ship within a couple days been over 12 days no part no Ive.

Im disappointed with the high pitched noise that the water dispenser makes when you get water. Ive had an LG refrigerator in the past and never had that problem. Other than the water dispenser noise its good.

More room than expected in a counter depth refrigerator. The view door is a nice gimmick but its all the room that is impressive. Temperature is constant throughout the fridge and the ice making is also outstanding. It actually cooled down within 2 hours of being installed and the ice makers were full within about 36-38 hours after installation. The only con is the shelves on the view door cannot be moved.
